  1. I've been complaining on Twitter about Elon musk YouTube ad scams for almost a year now. They aren't doing anything to vet these ads and the govt has taken a back seat.

  2. By biggest financial mistake was being only 12 years old during the 2008 financial crisis and nowhere near prepared enough to scoop up some cheap stocks and real estate maybe now is my time!

  3. Not passing any judgement, but does she not deal with a bank? Her bank would have investment accounts that can hold Tesla stock.

  4. It should be common sense to not let someone have remote access to your computer that you don't know. Seniors need to be educated.

  5. Very similar to the "love scams" where seniors send their life savings to a boy/girlfriend that they have never met. If you have a senior relative, you need to educate them about scams and keep a close eye on them.

  6. ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ˜น ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ˜น ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ˜น im sure she has all her covid shots also

  7. We need serious law punish the cyber attacks and web scammers!
Feel sorry about the old lady.
The scammers only attack the weakness. Trash ๐Ÿคก!

  8. There are Elon scams all over the net. Almost like Elon isn't taking care of his IP. We should pool our $ and buy the Elon IP. Greed is a harsh mistress. 750k at her age, she could have lived very well.

  9. Thats horrible, i hope she gets a go fund me set up, better yet i hope elon himself donates. That's a shame ๐Ÿ™

  10. Sucks what happened to her, but why is she trying to invest to become rich at her age with $750K? That sounds like more than enough to retire and live modestly comfortably.

  11. And the bank ALLOWED that much money to whomever, without confirming. So ya. The bank has to be careless too. No questions asked eh? Just letting scammers run off that much money. Seniors need to be protected and educated about scams at their banks. Send out emails with information. This is totally preventable..

  12. I feel sorry for this lady. Who gave her a computer, not everyone knows how use a computer, she have too much money.

  13. Canadian banks and telecom companies charge one of the highest service charges in the world and yet they donot have simple rules and protection in place for the consumers. I don't understand where does all that money go? In lobbying?
