Mount Washington in the Presidential Range of the White Mountains, still to this day holds the surface wind speed record ever directly observed by a human at staggering 231mph. It’s been close to 25 years since I have been to the top and thought it would make for a great mini roadtrip to take the Tesla and see how an electric car would fair on the Mount Washington Auto Road!

I was very curious how the regenerative braking would handle the decent and how much charge you would lose and then gain back on the decent.
