While Booster 7 is integrated on the Orbital Launch Mount, Ship 24 was moved around the High Bay ahead of nosecone stacking.

  2. Do you know why the chopsticks are not used to move boosters up and down the om

  3. I believe that is a "water drill" truck. They use water and a vacuum to safety dig around conduit, pipes, etc

  4. Thanks for the videos…super job looking forward to seeing some flight time, guess we all are.

  5. I wonder when they start to add cladding onto the launchtower, atm i´ve no idea why they keep it "open" like this, or is it supposed to stay uncladded?
Also I wonder why they don´t use the Chopsticks to put the booster on to its pad, instead of useing the Crane. any intel on that?

  6. I think the next job to be done is when starfactory is completely finished they should bring in the Starships from the rocket garden and modify them for launch to orbit.

  7. Sorry to break it to all you fanboys, but it's time to just accept the facts.

    1. SpaceX will never launch orbital rockets from Starbase.
    2. The FAA will never give SpaceX an operator licence for Starbase.
    3. All fueling and launching GSE will be required to be removed once rejected.
    4. Their "integration tower" broke laws and will need to be torn down.
    5. This entire project will eventually be shut down and almost bankrupt the company.
    6. All of this is due to Musk's out of control ego.
    7. SpaceX is a one trick pony and when that trick fails they are finished.
    8. The only thing keeping SpaceX afloat is government contracts.
    9. The company is facing increasing competition from other aerospace companies.
    10. Musk's public statements are often inaccurate and misleading.
    11. The company has a history of delays and missed deadlines.

  8. Why does SpaceX not use the Chopsticks for boosters? They have yet to even do a fit check there…

  9. I figured the star factory would be at least as tall as the tallest tent, to have space for bridge cranes and the like.

  10. SpaceX is amazing! Can't believe how many launches they have planned for 2022.

  11. 7:00 Interesting to see a black EMS van marked "Starbase Emergency Transit." In any busy work site, accidents can happen. Given their somewhat remote location, it makes sense to have an EMS transit vehicle available on-site rather than waiting for one to arrive from Brownsville.

  12. Sorry for the elephant-in-the-room question, but why cant they just use chop sticks to load/unload the booster with the OLM ? They did with starship already!

  13. After watching both parts, I'm very impressed with your tone, and from what I see here I have almost no idea where you stand on the subject. I think that is most excellent.

  14. The tiles on the lower half of Ship 24 look insanely uniform compared to its predecessors.

  15. I often find myself wondering what is taking so long to build these now vs last year when it seemed like they were spitting them out every other week. Then I remember they're doing a lot more finish work to these since the design has been refined so much and it isn't just a simple test hop anymore.
