SpaceX Fires Workers That Criticized Musk

SpaceX has fired “a number of employees” responsible for an open letter critical of the behavior of Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk, according to an internal memo, an unusual clash hinting at growing discord over the billionaire’s controversial comments. Ed Ludlow reports on “Bloomberg Technology.”

  2. I have seen videos of him walking around the facilities and for the most part, people don't seem to care he is there. They just keep doing whatever, and it does not look like a "staged event." No doubt many people are being pushed to the breaking point working on these projects, but I think you know that going in. It was not cool how he threw shade at the original raptor design team, Musk has said he is head of engineering, so there should be no excuse to "blame" anyone other than himself (the drama looked weak, because it was.)

  15. Not for criticizing Musk but for bothering other employees at SpaceX. Musk is always open to criticism. Please improve your video title game Bloomberg, at least live up to your name.

  18. Good. It's a private company. Keep your personal opinions and "workeism" to yourself and outside working hours, do your job or get fired. Any CEO and owner of any business would do the exact same thing especially when they're paying for your luxury salary + benefits. Weed out all the parasites Elon Musk.

  23. If you were paying people and they were using that work time to criticise you and not work, plus distracting other people that are working, then you fire them. Why would you want to have people like that in your team being unproductive. Pretty dumb this is even a story

  26. The pandemic came and taught everyone the importance of having multiple stream of income, unfortunately having a nice paying job doesn't mean you are financial secured anymore. So we all need to put in an extra- income earning chance, like investment.

  28. The Employees who got fired was Soliciting other employees for signing the Open Letter against Elon. Read the Spacex Letter to employees. Well, if you working for an Company your job is work on the mission of the Company, not solicit, Force or Distract other employees during your work time.

    I cannot say whether Elon did it or not. That's Judicial system to decide. Spacex employees job is work for the Company's Mission to Mar!!

  32. Late 1980's–1990's babies are SO damn whiny and annoying. Seriously . Also, I'm so ashamed of the radical elements within my generation (Generation X) who infiltrated the schools and universities….and indoctrinated the aforementioned generations with victim, or entitlement syndrome (and their "progressive" parents reinforced this nonsense). As someone with friends and associates, overseas….I really, really wish many of these generations were born in dire conditions. Then, they'd understand REAL suffering versus their privilege.
