  1. NASA should be superior to any other builders. They have been doing this for years . They should work together 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸✝️✝️✝️✝️

  2. That's bc NASA is keeping secrets and I often wonder how the ones guarding these secrets manage to rationalize it to themselves that this is what's best for the country and we the people

  3. They have different philosophies. NASA has proceeded with safety first. SpaceX has gone with whats possible. Deliberately pushing the rockets to their limits.

  4. One has 15% more thrust and the other is taller. I don't think that was the best way to compare rockets.

  5. Comparing the height of one to the thrust percentage of the other is astoundingly moronic statement. You've given me a headache.

  6. , NASA over the years has become an overblown government bureaucracy and Elon Musk Space Industries have become a very efficient Industrial industry 4 space technology that's not tied to the government

  7. I hear a lot of hating but not a lot of consideration for the person that had the vision of Tesla and SpaceX. Where they will be in the future and what they will do for us. Imagine being on the other end of the bench and having to put all of your expertise, time, money, blood, sweat and tears into something hoping it would be enough to make a difference! Tesla and SpaceX wouldn't be what they are today without Elon Musk. In fact they probably would not exist. Let's look at the man who is a multi-dimensional thinker. Who is only looking out for a humanities best interest. Hearing him be ridiculed by one-dimensional thinkers, I find to be disrespectful. Considering he is the man of the millennium and I don't know if we'll know who the haters are next year, let alone in the next decade! To know and not to do anything is worse than trying and not succeeding. Everything Elon is doing at this moment benefits humanity five to ten years down the road. Think about it before you become too judgmental. It's easy to point the finger but there's always three pointing back at you! I did have over an hour long discussion with Elon back in 2000 about an electric car company that should be named Tesla and a commercialized space exploration program. Unfortunately I didn't think I was in a very good position to help at that time. The past 15 years that I have been trying to contact Elon as you can imagine have not been that successful, considering how busy he is. I still come up with innovative business ideas on a regular basis that I think can benefit both companies. Right now I don't know whether my ideas will be heard but I'd like to think someday they will be. I know it's not been an easy road but luckily for all of us these companies are still growing and need our help. Look forward to meeting and working with you again in the near future. Let's continue shooting for the Moon and Mars. Then we will end up amongst the Stars!

  8. Government companies can't compete with a private company. They cost four to five times more to do the exact same things. This is partly why Communism is a dead end.

  9. Is it a recent confession that NASA has not completed a successful lunar mission
"since it first did so in the 1970s"
    i.e *not in 1969*

  10. China has been very busy with four different moon Rover projects since 2013 to now … As last I heard all four rovers are functioning again as one was stuck another one shut down but all four are working today and one is on the far side of the moon for the first time ever China was the very 1st country with their own space program as they had no help from anyone at this time , were able to not only make the first successful landing on the far side we're also the first country ever landing a moon Rover and launch it and send back pictures as they have a relay satellite orbiting the Moon to pick up the signals from the Rover that's on the far side of the moon.. racing on their agenda is building a manned station on their side of the moon that is called lunar Palace 1… Maybe it will be functioning before the United States and NASA and Elon Musk arrive… It was surprised me if China has a set of parking meters set up in a parking lot for the astronauts of Elon musking astronauts of NASA to arrive have a conversations waiting for them…. China's robotic rovers roaming around measuring off the real estate for the last 9 years should pretty much know the surface by now….would be funny if the Chinese charges a weekly or monthly parking fee plus lodging fee for room and board at lunar Palace One.. as it's the only one that is your only choice ..unless you want to sleep in your cramped up lunar lander or pitch a tent sleep outside in your space suit till you run out of air
China has had rocket technology for over 3,000 years as they are the first to build fireworks solid fuel rockets used and fireworks from gunpowder…. Contrary to what the American millennials believe that China is a third world country ….and how so quickly the American millennials seem to have slipped their minds at everything at Walmart is made in China as their products do not look much as they would have from a third world African tribe and making one at a time….

Wan Hu (万户 or 万虎) is a legendary Chinese official – supposedly having lived from as early as 2000 BCE to as late as the middle Ming dynasty (16th century) — who was described in 20th century sources as the world's first "astronaut" by having been lifted by rockets into outer space. The crater Wan-Hoo on the far side of the Moon is named after him… Today's American millennials do not believe that knowledge is power and so they believe that history is a waste of time…. This attitude is very dangerous for the survival of the United States of America as I don't see any secure future with illiterate minds trying to maintain power as it is not a wise thing to not know your enemies or your rivals as American millennials do not have a clue of the capabilities of China and most do not believe that China has ever landed anything on the. Moon..
Probably wisecracks I've read in the comments from American millennials suggest that they believe that the Chinese do not have modern rocket technology when the joke's on them as China's been residents of the men with their robotic rovers since 2013 and for 3 years freely had a website running of every pictures of everything they have taken pictures of broadcast on the web for anyone to download and copy but I've never mentioned this faction mainstream news media for that reason to see who's paying attention and nobody is very good news for the Chinese communist republic army. The same Chinese Republic army who's responsible for their space program all their satellites all the technology that is used today are all the Chinese accomplishments as they are all very well educated… From the lowest ranking officers and infantry men to those who will become the next astronauts for the Chinese people
These facts about Chinese technology, Americans mostly could not care less about or do they even know hanging out all about the Chinese has Americans today don't believe there's necessary to know anything about who is your rivals and what they can do…. I'm like you call old school as early as the second grade we were talking affairs and had a newspaper for children called The weekly reader that told us all major events like what is happening today and we were informed back then of China's capabilities day by day but not anymore…. As today's millennials are totally ignorant of current affairs and what our adversaries are doing above and beyond us…

  11. Yes lest not say that sls has 12 million pounds of force but space ex has 18 definitely the same.

  12. What many people don't think about is that even though they technically have the same goal there are many different obstacles they each gave while SpaceX is trying to get to the moon they have to do it on a budget but for NASA it's just getting to the moon since they have a nearly endless budget which is why I personally don't think you can really compare the two rockets this is just my personal opinion and I am not in either NASA or SpaceX
