NASA Just Awards SpaceX A $255 Million Contract To Launch The Roman Space Telescope On Falcon Heavy

On the heels of James Webb – NASA’s most significant telescope launch for at least a decade, this agency has just announced the launch provider for its next most expensive space telescope.
NASA awards SpaceX a $255 million contract to launch the Roman space telescope!
Notably, the vehicle of choice is Falcon Heavy, a monster that has been absent for the past three years.
Why’s that?
What prompted NASA to make this choice?
Let’s find the answers in today’s episode of Great SpaceX!

Originally known as the Wide Field InfraRed Survey Telescope (WFIRST), NASA recently renamed the mission in honor of Nancy Grace Roman, a foundational force behind the Hubble Space Telescope.
Fittingly, the Roman Space Telescope’s basic design is reminiscent of Hubble in many ways, owing to the fact that the mission exists solely because the US National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) chose to donate an unused multi-billion-dollar spy satellite – a satellite that was effectively a secret Earth-facing version of Hubble.

  1. We need star link receivers for Simi trucks. Truck stop WiFi is notoriously bad heck my cellphone provides better quality internet than most truck stops.

  2. I mean, not like they have much choice. Falcon Heavy is more or less the only operational ready, American made heavy lift vehicle they have right now.

  3. ❤Only for fans over 18 year⤵️ Alles sehr schön. Aber zuerst zusammen die Nummern 10 und 1. Eine emprutt.ONLINE Brünette und eine andere Blondine. Es wäre unfair, wennf ich 4 wählen würde

  4. ♥️𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆❤️ Alles sehr schön. Aber zuerst zusammen die Nummern 10 und 1. Eine warmthh.Online Brünette und eine andere Blondine. Es wäre unfairc, wenn ich 4 wählen würde

  5. I remember 7 months ago when JAMES WEBB was launch. I commented on one of old videos of KEVIN that SpaceX will launch the ROMAN(NANCY GRACE) Telescope and yes I was right.😎

And personally I'm more excited for NANCY GRACE then WEBB,coz it will discover DARK MATTER & DARK ENERGY,which might be our gamble for Interstellar travel😯😄. Still optimistic as usual.
