Yeah, whatever obstacles stand in the way, Elon Musk and SpaceX will undoubtedly propel the Starship to reach orbit. At that point, it’s hard to deny that Starship’s orbital maiden flight won’t be a watershed moment for spaceflight.
This will undoubtedly be a big slap to its biggest rival – Blue Origin and even the whole rocket industry!
So, how exactly SpaceX 1st orbital flight will stop the race of Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos?

Let’s expose everything about this interesting topic in today episode of the Alpha Tech channel:

But first, you should know about the 18-year feud between the world’s 2 richest men, Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos:

The Musk-Bezos rivalry appears to date back to 2004 when the two CEOs met for dinner to discuss their respective reusable rocket ambitions it apparently did not go well.

“I actually did my best to give good advice, which he largely ignored,” Musk said after the meeting, according to Christian Davenport’s book, “The Space Barons.”

From 2004 onward, Musk and Bezos appeared to keep to themselves. But their rivalry continued in 2013 when things became contentious over leasing a NASA launchpad.

SpaceX tried to get exclusive use of a NASA launchpad. Blue Origin filed a formal protest with the government to prevent SpaceX from using the pad — Bezos proposed converting it “into a commercial spaceport available to all launch companies.”

Musk called the move a “phony blocking tactic”. SpaceX eventually won the right to take over the pad.
In 2014, the two companies got into a patent battle when Blue Origin was granted a patent for drone ships, which are used for landing rocket boosters. SpaceX petitioned to invalidate the patent.

The feud isn’t just about space ambitions, however.

Musk told his biographer, Ashlee Vance, that Blue Origin has repeatedly tried to snag talent away from SpaceX.
“Blue Origin does these surgical strikes on specialized talent offering like double their salaries,” Musk said in Vance’s 2015 biography. “I think it’s unnecessary and a bit rude.”
When the BBC asked Musk about Bezos in 2016, he responded, “Jeff who?”
On Twitter, Musk has repeatedly and publicly called Bezos a “copycat” — once after Amazon announced its plan to launch internet-beaming satellites, and again when Amazon acquired self-driving-taxi company Zoox.

  1. How dumb can you get? Blue Origin isn’t about to stop no matter who else launches. The whole premise is ridiculous.

  2. Stop using trumped-up titles. You have a good channel with excellent content. It doesn't need sensationalist add-ons to the thumbnail.

  3. Not a second of new material in this video….Only things that have been repeated a thousand time.

  4. It's rather uncritical and even unscientific to take marketing materials for any company's products as truth. The reality is, SpaceX is still far away from delivering on many of the promises of Starship, especially when it comes to cost and rapid reusability. Until those things can be actively demonstrated, they remain just promises, goals or dreams, depending on your perspective. I'm excited to see how close they can get to achieving what they set out to do, but I wait to see what they can accomplish in the future, rather than focusing on what they promise in the present. It would be better for you to go the route of thoughtful scientific inquiry into spaceflight, rather than becoming yet another gossip channel that treats every statement Musk makes about the future as proven fact.

  5. Hoooollllllllllddddddd on a minute, Blue origin? SpaceX' biggest competition…… naw. To be in competition you would need to be in the same league and well, the flying cock is not

  6. Jeff having egotistical challenge but his intelligence level can’t compare with Elon. Jeff is smart but not genius.

  7. It hasn't happened yet! BO's first flight will probably be successful, good chance anyway. SpaceX's first Starship flight probably will not be successful, possibly catastrophically so. Besides, it's not winner take all, whoever is first doesn't end the race for either.

  8. I wonder, how big a space telescope could be, if transported via starship… and what it could see…

  9. Alles sehr schön. Aber zuerst zusammen die Nummern 10 und 1. Eine warmthh.Online Brünette und eine andereh Blondine. Es wäre unfair, wenn ich 4 wählen würde
