SpaceX Starship Testing Ramp Up, Huge International Space Station Changes, & more

We are gearing up for critical testing of Ship 24 this week. SpaceX Starship Testing Ramp Up is on the cards as we head toward static fire early next week. A lot going on at Starbase, Texas in preparation of the first orbital test flight, plus more construction progress over at Starbase Florida. Huge International Space Station Changes are coming alone with a “bee-utiful” little update on some robotic helpers on the ISS. As the International space station heads towards retirement at the end of the decade, the latest review of NASA’s progress here is, well, not ideal. Another batch of Starlink satellites but more interesting was the re-entry footage. A bunch of sweet Mars updates, and China’s massive launch vehicle carried its heaviest payload ever, to orbit. Just what was happening here?

  1. Another fantastic video.
I look forward to these videos every Saturday morning
    Thanks.
    Henderson, Nevada 🇺🇸

  2. I make hydraulic cylinders at a fairly large company and the whole field is having supply issues. Our largest competitions ship times have doubled and we have had to extend our as well.

  3. An important question to ask is why spacex has clammed up in the past couple years. as for how development is going. theres a lit more suppositions by all the sciencetubers covering things like rocket tests, failures, and stage zero improvements.

  4. Yet another great Saturday update! My initial thought about the sorter catch arms was that SpaceX has so refined the landing accuracy of the Falcon boosters that they don't need the longer arms for this next phase of boosters.

  5. I wish the starlink being oriented domestically. I've got a friend in rural Ohio that put down a Starlink deposit over a year ago and is still waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. I look forward to these updates every week and especially love the other episodes on specific topics

  7. I see we are already starting to pollute Mars. 😞"I hope we don't turn it into a cosmic dump site.

  8. @7:26 Marcus, be very careful about the difference between "EVIDENCE" and "PROOF". There can be evidence of all most everything but rarely proof. As Sherlock said in the Blind Banker. " 𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘁."

  9. Well I have indeed become a fan. Not only is your accent endearing, but you are kinda cute. I prefer your channel to any other space news. Love you human touch. 😎

  10. the cool thing is super heavy will be harder to catch then starship so rating the chop sticks for catching crew would mostly be a "clean" record with the boosters.

  11. The Crand Ganyon is my favorite giant crack… For real, love the vids – professional and informative. To the future and beyond!

  12. Love the updates and midweek video as usual! Thank you marcus and will buy a razor to support the channel and community! Win win for everyone.

  13. See I don't understand the decommissioning of the ISS, wouldn't you just dump modules as you add new ones and use the ISS like a workers shed?

  14. Me and m'y family are almost on the street because of all the Price change and gaz and everything while this guy is just spending billions of dollars just for Testing 😅👌

  15. Curious why the methane header tank is also a sphere… feels like the torus shape would have saved up some space on the nose cone, so what is this about? Ideal distribution of pressure in a spherical tank? Easier to manufacture both header tanks in exactly the same way? But then what will ultimately be fitted into the empty space left over from both spherical headers? Sooo many questions…

  16. Can't wait for the chinese rocket to have an uncontrolled re entry again and endanger people on the ground woohoo

  17. That shot of Astronaut Megan with Bumble, Honey, and Queen just made me think of Bruce Dean with Huey, Dewey, and Louie. I'm sure these three Cube-bots are just as intrepid as the irregular octazoids. Rather like the cube-bots but with bolt-on parts to add feet. Not required for Zero-G.

  18. The taikonauts are banned from entering the ISS because they'd just steal everyone else's technology. Yes, really. And it's really not funny what some of their satellites have been up to lately, either… The only comfort is that the US can blow China out of the water in terms of launch capacity so they probably won't start a contest of who can disable whose satellites better.

  19. Man, the invaluable education you provide to all us out here is amazing! You really give the opportunity for normal folk to really feel that they have some level of understanding and some skin in the game.

Thanks for all your work, research, waiting, writing, recording, and talking – you're doing a yeoman's work in educating all us who (sadly) didn't get an adequate science education from our schoolings!

  20. Congratulations to China on successful launch of Wentian Science Lab Module to China's futuristic space station.

Wishing China further success in its SPACE EXPLORATION PROGRAMME which is second to none in the world. 🇦🇫💓🇨🇳

  21. Do a full review of the production dilemma that Starship faces. Just the Raptor demand in two years is mind boggling.

  22. Can Dragon replace Soyuz in providing altitude adjustment for the ISS? Any news on 1058? Are there any pictures of it returning to base? Still don't believe it made it.

  23. Stop begging for subscribers, it makes your vlog sound more concerned about making money than content. Also promoting products are irritating and irrelevant. If you have good content, you will outomatically get subscribers. I have unsubscribed for this reason.
