  1. IMPORTANT from the Lawyer Wife:

The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 claims that it will “make a historic down payment on deficit reduction to fight inflation” by creating a total ESTIMATED deficit reduction of $300 billion over 10 years. Democrats get to this number by claiming that the total revenue raised by the Act will be approximately $739 billion (through 15% corporate minimum tax and IRS tax enforcement, among other things) while spending $433 billion on various energy security and climate change investments. This Act is nothing more than another government slush fund and should be voted down.

A few things hidden in the 725-page legislation (which you can read in full here: https://www.democrats.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/inflation_reduction_act_of_2022.pdf) you should know:

All new government spending is upfront, while the supposed deficit-reducing revenues are backloaded. This equates to higher inflation—ironic given the title of the bill is the “Inflation Reduction Act of 2022.”

Gives IRS almost $79 billion, and over $45 billion of that is earmarked for “enforcement activities” including “digital asset monitoring and compliance activities”– i.e., cryptocurrency oversight. Not to mention the tax-enforcement provisions basically allow the IRS to almost double its size, allowing it to hire more agents to audit taxpayers.

Spends $369 billion (of your taxpayer dollars!) to promote clean energy sources and fighting climate change. In reality, what this does is manipulate the energy markets by forcing billions of investment dollars away from proven productive uses and instead dumps money into unreliable, unproven, green new deal-type resources. (Didn’t the bipartisan infrastructure law already take care of fighting climate change, at least that’s what we were told by the White House when it claimed that law was a “once-in-a-generation investment in our nation’s infrastructure and competitiveness.”)

Extends Obamacare subsidies, sending billions of dollars to insurance companies.

Creates a new alternative minimum tax by using different accounting methods than normal. This equates to an increase of the tax burdens on employers (like SpaceX) and, ultimately, you—the employee.

  2. I mean, the 2ghz FCC request is a response to the 12Ghz DISH request right? They might have already been in talks with the cell company, but this surely put it the top.

  3. Folks who like space come from all political points of view. You trying to push yours is apt to loose you viewers. Like me. The Inflation Reduction Act is excellent legislation. Obstructionist Trumpists want to kill it just to make Biden look bad, but it's VERY good for the country. Despite inheriting a horrible economy where the controlling Trumpists had already increased the deficit by $7 Trillion, Biden & the Dems have already managed to REDUCE the deficit considerably. They're actually trying (& succeeding) in serving the PEOPLE of the USA, & not just the RICH.

Your political views have NO PLACE HERE. If you want to continue them, I'm outta here. There are LOTS of other sources to get the info you put out, like Marcus House, Lab Padre, Scott Manley, What About It, & several NASA related channels.

  4. Interesting to see how NASA plans for Mars might become totally irrelevant because of Starship development.

  5. Kill (the bill). That's all pirate thinkers do.
It's all, Pro "my" life. 2 Fux to everyone else.

  6. So I Google, how far away is mars from earth. It showed to be 106,610,000 miles away. The fastest space rockets travel 17,800 mph. If you do the math it would take 12,169 years to reach it. Now Nasa clames do to the planets rotation around the sun the rockets would travel some 300 million miles in space to reach it. That would be roughly 34,256 years to get there.
So now you can see just how full of 💩 all the space agencies are, they are stealing your money. And they (Nasa) have sent multiple rovers to mars now, HOW? WE'D ALL HAVE PASSED AWAY FOR CENTURIES OVER.

  7. Done! I contacted Senator Manchin's office regarding the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. I hope everyone else in the comments did as well?

  8. Stop always trying to insert political BS into your videos. It's cringe and annoying.

  9. Musk will probably have humans on mars before nasa gets those samples back in 2033 😂

  10. Listen, the time has come. The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news.Mark 1:15 Please think about it. Believe in God's son Jesus today, repent/believe, he died for you. Believe before the rapture. For He Himself is our peace. Ephesians 2:14 Love

  11. Absolutely nothing the Democrats ever do is "Up Front". The neo-Socialists live in an altered realm of realism. Some proposals they actually believe themselves, again most are designed to dupe their constituents. All eventually cascading throughout the apathetic populace.

  12. I read the lawyer wife's notes and I agree whole heartedly. I just want to share my views on this. I live in Miami Gardens, FL. Voted for DeSantis and Trump and will do it again. Here tax fraud is pervasive, in fact, fraud itself is pervasive. Considering how much the IRS has "suffered" over the past years I think that doubling it's size to combat fraud may be quite justified. I am the sole support for my family and make a little over 43k/year. My mortgage + escrow is $1150/month. Medical without Obamacare is $1900/month for me, my wife and my daughter. So medical and mortgage is ~36k/year. Thanks to Obamacare I pay $125/month medical. If it wasn't for that we would have no medical insurance. I don't like it but it is what it is. Sometimes your, and mine, tax dollars help hard working people too.

  13. Elon is out there making enemies, enemies in government and high places that can hurt him.

  14. The worst part about the Inflation INCREASE Act isn’t the Act itself…it’s that no Republicans will vote ‘No’ on it (except Rand Paul)

  15. The Donkeys are back to their thieving ways again. Clearly they have been taking the CCP's tactics and using them as well. Best practices for the US citizens is to believe the opposite of any thing that comes out of the Dem's lying mouths.

  16. Thanks for the heads up on the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. I did go to the site and comment!

  17. Imagine if Starlink made a ewaste conscious mobile phone. It'd be high spec with guaranteed software updates for like 10 years. That'd be rad.

  18. TELL YOUR CONSERVATIVE WIFE , THAT 41 % OF OUR NATIONS ENERGY IS RENEWABLES AND ITS PROJECTED WHEN THE CURRENT CROP OF PROJECT ARE DONE IT WILL BE 50 % BY THE END OF 2023 , BEING A SHORT SIGHTED VISIONLESS MOUTH PIECE DOSNT MAKE YOU RIGHT , JUST. LOUD AND OBNOXIOUS ! HO , LOVE YOUR WORK !

  19. I love how kerbal has just become a staple thing all space fans understand. Whether yours a classic nasa diehard or an elon fanboy. Or one of the 35 people who support blue origin or even the single person who knows ULA exists. We all understand kerbal and can communicate through this busted game

  20. Seeing the photo of a hole drilled in a Martian rock hit me really hard. The first of (hopefully) many interplanetary mining operations.

  21. I gave you a dislike because all the "good channels keep politics out of reporting Space news" shame on you for using Space X to promote your views.

  22. Limiting the human species to one planet is like locking someone in a bathroom and telling them to live there for the rest of their life.
People tell me we should solve all of Earth's problems before we expand into space. That is the same as telling some kid who grew up with drug addict parents, you can not move out till your parents drug addiction is solved.

  23. When will Star Link arrive in Canada? I'm tired of being Milked by our useless Telecom company's up here with their 3rd rate service & outrageous price gouging!

  24. Like It is Thanks to Elon, yea his Horde of engineers built it but he was a part of every process.

  25. I had stopped watching when you started talking politics. First time in about a year, neverr again. Stop with the politics, do the science/reporting.
