Elon Musk and Tesla released footage today showing their single-cast stamping capabilities for auto manufacturing of their frames. This newer technology via single castings is comparable to how a model car would be stamped. The single cast and stamping function allow Tesla to increase both the automobile’s total overall strength and stability. This also makes for fewer steps in the initial building process which increases Tesla’s bottom line and ability to scale in comparison to its peers.
